    hi, I give memberships to a secction… how can control that a lot people use the same user and password… you know one account > multiple users! hack membership… or I dont know how say, you know like pay sites how control that.

    is possible? any add on or something?

    You can prevent multiple concurrent logins, but there’s nothing to prevent people from sharing a password, as it were. They just won’t be able to use it at the same time.

    thanks Ingmar, yeah I need that “prevent multiple concurrent logins” how do it? if people share passwords that is out of my control.

    Take a look at Security and Session Preferences > Allow multiple log-ins from a single account?

    great! that prevent that users login multiple times from single account but users still can login one at 10am log out… later other to 11pm etc… log out etc… right?

    so is possible do something that say “if account was logged to more than 5 times with different ips address put this account banned” or something that prevent this? or well whats the best way to prevent this situation? you know like pay subscription sites like http://www.lynda.com/ by example

    Yes. Only multiple concurrent logins are prevented.

    so is possible do something that say “if account was logged to more than 5 times with different ips address put this account banned” or something that prevent this?

    I am afraid not. There’s nothing in EE that lets you do this.
