I’m being completely buried in registration spam. But when I turn off registrations, I get emails from legitimate people asking why. 99% of those registrations are coming from India, Russia and other places for which there is no legitimate reason to register. I can go to each person’s account page, get the ip address and then run it through ip to nation to find out whether to admit them. But this takes HOURS.

What I’d like to is to add a column to the activate pending members page which shows the nation of origin, based on the registration ip address.

Is there a way to do it (for non programmers like me)?

    TIA

Have you considered using the IP2Nation module? It can help you to ban entire countries based on IP address.

IP To Nation is installed, and all but three countries banned. It apparently doesn’t stop people from banned countries from registering.

I understand. In that case, a Feature Request would probably the best solution for now.
