    Hi,

I have a site well in the works (about 80% completed) and I somehow accidentally deleted my path.php file from my server.  I can still navigate throughout the control panel but I cannot see my site at all (blank page).  I have the original path.php file but when I add it back to the server the live site displays a message telling me to add install.php and start the install.  I am afraid doing this will eliminate all of my templates, entries, settings, etc.  Is there a way to fix this or will I have to go to my IT guy for a back up (resulting in loss of current data as well).

    Thanks - Jeff

well, if your IT guy has a backup - maybe he has backup just for path.php as well? 😊

If not - talk to your hoster, many of them are making backups of customer’s files.

You can rebuild it, it’s a pretty simple file.  See EEWiki:// Path
