I’d like to restructure my website and use EE 1.6.9 under a new domain name.

The support folks at my service provider indicate that I need to change the primary license for the domain name.  Any idea how I do this?

Hi, Ian. That’s not true. The license is flexible in that as long as you only have one public facing site, you’re free to change which site the license is tied to.

    How do I do that?

    Hi, Ian -

Nothing needs to be done on our end; you would simply uninstall it from a previous live site, and use it on your new live site. =)

I have two sites.  One is an addon to the other, so when I use an ftp utility, they are in the same site.  Can I simply move the path under the other site?

    Ian,

Can you explain a bit more about how you have 2 sites.Have you developed the newer site in a folder in your root and wish to make this the primary now?

Or are you moving hosting or simply just changing your domain name?
