I have several categories and some stories can belong to multiple categories.  For example “sample story” can belong to the news category and the science category.

When I assign a story to both categories, due to the story being published in the “news” category it doesn’t show in the “science” category.

Is there a way to make a story published in the “news” category show in both “news” and “science” categories?

Terence, you can choose more than one category to associate with an entry. I use Category Check boxes

NOTE: If/when you upgrade to EE2.x, category check boxes are built in.
