Wonder if you can shed some light on what’s configurable here…

I have a blog where email address is required for commenting.

If I save my info when I make a comment, come back and make a comment in the same browser but enter a different email address, the one I originally saved still gets submitted.

    1. Is this what should happen?
    2. If so, what settings can prevent it from happening?

To be clear, what I think ought to happen is that if a user chooses to use a different email address than the one stored under the exp_my_email cookie, their choice ought to be respected and exp_my_email should not over-ride the value submitted in the email field.

    Jonathan,

Which version and build of EE1 are you using? Can you share your (simplified) comment submission form code?
