I am using some very long custom fields, and for it to work on smaller monitors I need to remove completely the” My Account Sidebar”. But, I don’t know to start and since its a live site, I don’t want to mess around without knowing what I am doing.

    Thanks

Not knowing what you’re referring to, I’d look at CSS declarations to reshape/hde/show elements based on the viewport size. Saves messing up your code.

Sorry I should have been more descriptive. Look at the attached screenshots when the sidebar is hidden all my fields are shown, but when the sidebar is not hidden it covers 5 of my custom fields. So, I need to either delete the sidebar entirely or I need to figure out, how to have it default to sidebar hidden.  Does that make more sense?

    Thanks

Looks like it’s controlled via cookies that expire at the end of the session, NFI if there is any config value to control this… handball to admins 😛

Have you tried custom publish page layouts?

It not the post layouts that is the problem, it is the sidebar.

Nick, one of my coworkers Dan has a suggestion for you:
