I am working on a project that was partially built by another developer and includes a number of custom modules. These modules have important information that I would like to include in weblogs on the site. Is it possible to pull the data from these custom modules and display it dynamically in templates on the site? If so, is there any reading on the subject?

    Thanks.

You can usually use the Query module to pull just the data you need, if the modules in question doesn’t already have a documented way to do this.

The difficulty will vary depending on how readable and well structured the Module contains data in MySQL.

If for some reason the Query module doesn’t provide the flexibility you need you could always build template tags into the module as well.  But you’d need someone with PHP coding experience to do that (perhaps the person who built the module in the first place).\
