This question may be related to a resolved thread.

I changed the autosave_interval_seconds to 0 in the config file. But I still have auto saves and the error message. Am I missing something?

What version and build of EE are you using?

If you open up system/expressionengine/config/config.php you should have a line like this.

$config['autosave_interval_seconds']    = "0";

Can you confirm please?

I’m using EE 2.1.0.

That line was not originally in the config file, but I added it.

It won’t be there by default but is perfectly acceptable to add it there.
Can you confirm if it is working as expected now?

I’m sorry I didn’t make that clear in my initial post. I added it and it is still not working as expected.

Does it only affect entries created/edited after the setting has been changed?

It looks to be a config setting that is being looked at. So if you had autosaved items previously, they should still be there, but you shouldn’t get newer ones.
