When trying to upload a file to our site, I continue to receive this error. The path specified in your image upload preferences is not correct
I have tried multiple locations for our file upload locations and continue to get this error. We have version 1.6.5
Can you help us identify the issue?

try this, plus, adding NGEN Extension can really be useful

this is sort of what mine looks like…. hope it helps you get on the right track
Server Path to Upload Directory
/home/myusername/public_html/images/
(this uses my user name that is also used for my webhosting for the master site, i think this part may be user specific…)
URL of Upload Directory
http://www.mysite.com/images/
