Who needs a “Top Ten” list when you can find seven really fantastic reasons to go to EECI Europe? I mean, aside from the amazing keynotes, exceptional speakers and packed “programme.” Let me spell this out for you here: It’s the ExpressionEngine conference you DO NOT want to miss.

    Here’s why:

    #1. Community Spirit.

ExpressionEngine developers are known for being awesome. Here in the States, where EE started, we have some pretty fantastic people in the community that we know and love. But over there? In Europe? You’ll find an enthusiasm that is fresh, sparkly, and infectious. These developers are down-right kick awesome.

#2. Best experts from the community greeting you on a personal level.

Bump elbows at a conference that is just big enough to bring the cream of the crop without being lost in a crowd. Get to know the add-on developers, specialists, and design teams over a beer (or two). Look at photos of their families while swapping stories and discussing possible new software releases that enable your company to succeed.

    #3. Code sharing.

Because geeks like feedback on their latest successes or getting help to overcome an obstacle.

    #4. Bragging rights.

    See also #3.

#5. A 30% discount on your conference pass using the code “EllisLab” at checkout (without quotes).

Dude, everyone loves saving money. A great deal just got greater.

    #6. Windmills!

Leiden is the picturesque home of EECI EU. In between learning the best ExpressionEngine tips and tricks, you’ll wander through canal-intersecting streets, castle ruins, and windmills.

    #7. Whoooz!

Smart, inspiring, and always hilarious, the host of the conference makes the show.

It is an experience like no other. Trust me, you want to be there. If you’re going, let us know. Don’t forget to come say, “Hi.” I’ll be there, too.
