I’m hoping for a few kind hints on something that I can’t quite seem to wrap my head around…

I have 6 member groups: Basic Students, Basic Teachers, Basic Leaders, Gold Students, Gold Teachers, and Gold Leaders.  I have 3 weblogs: Videos, Documents, and Training Exercises.  I need to mark which entries in each of these weblogs is viewable by Basic Students, by Basic Teachers, etc.  Sometimes just one group should see an entry, but sometimes I’ll have many groups see an entry (I need the endless possibilities!).

I created a FF Checkbox Group custom field and populated it with each of my member group names, so that in a video, document, or training exercise weblog entry I can check off which member groups should see that entry.  My problem is, I don’t quite know how to display this in my template… I was trying to do {if member_group = 'whatever'} but in doing that I will have a complete mess.  I can’t quite think how I make the leap to showing only the appropriate content for each member group.  Any bright ideas or spiffy plugin suggestions?  I’m a designer by trade, so the logic on this just escapes me!

    Thanks!

Gosh, I should really comb through Devot:ee more thoroughly before I post to the forum.  For anyone who has the same problem, I found incredibly handy FREE (!!!) gem: Restrict Entries by Greg Salt .  Problem solved!
