I’m not sure if I’m in the correct location on the forum, but feel free to move me 😊

    Here’s the situation:

I have the standard “member” group and I have created a member group called “teachers”.

I would like the “member” group to register using the default registration form, unchanged.

I would like the “teacher” group to register using a custom registration form so that I may gather more information, such as, grade, subject, school, address, etc.

Is there way to do this?

    Hi blaiseymae,

The first thing that comes to mind is that users won’t be able to access the registration form if they’re already logged in. And EE knowing which group they’re in presumes they’re already logged in.

If you’re looking to collect data on login from existing members based on their group, this can certainly be accomplished with a custom extension or module. Let me know and I’ll move this to the CodeShare Corner for you.
