I am using the latest 2.1.x version of Expression Engine for a site and also have the discussion forum module installed.

I see that users are able to edit their Username and Password via the forum control panel. I envisage that not all members of my site will use the forum so these members also need to be able to edit their details such as their username and password.

I am therefore seeking advice on how others have dealt with this situation when the forum module is installed on a site? Do you somehow prevent members editing their details via the forum and instead create your own editing pages or do you have both? I do not want to give my members access to the control panel of the site so will need to create my own SAEF forms.

    Any advice much appreciated

Thanks Lee - that looks like it could be just what I need.

    Many thanks
