    Hi, I’m on 1.6.8

Two quick and easy (?) ones:

    1. can’t seem to find where I can view all the email address for people who have signed up for emails (not for membership, but just for notification).

    2. can’t seem to keep my control panel from timing out, no matter how long i put in the box for “logout after xx minutes”

THANKS for any help on these

    1) Do you mean the mailinglist? If so, it’s got a separate Control Panel.

    2) Are you using cookies, or session ids for authentication purposes, or both?

thanks - got that figured now. didn’t see that tucked into the modules section…

it’s ‘cookies’ only for the session, thanks

    Hi Richard,

Whereabouts in the control panel are you setting a CP session length?

    Cheers

I figured the only place I could do it was under the general prefs - security and session prefs ; is there another option?

    thanks

    Hi Richard,

That preference (Time Interval for Lockout) is not for setting your CP session length but for setting the time that the password lockout will be active after invalid login attempts.

Having your Control Panel Session Type set to cookies should allow continuous access to your CP. Which browser are you using and do you have any extensions for it?

    Cheers
