    Hey All,

When the forum sends notification emails (such as new post in subscribed thread), URLs don’t include the domain name, eg:
The post can be found at:
    /index.php/forums/viewreply/3/

    (should be http://my.domain/index.php/forums/viewreply/3/)

I went into Modules > Discussion Forum > Forum Board Preferences and added the domain to Forum URL (was a path by default, and no guidance that it should be a full URL, bad defaults and UI), however nothing has changed. Is this value cached or overridden by a conf file somewhere? (I tried clearing all caches)

Sooo… do I have to go through every forum template and add {site_url} before each URL? :|

Aah, fuggedaboutit. I discovered that the main site URL was /. Pretty sure it wasn’t before migrating to EE2, but oh well. Adding the domain there fixed things.

As an aside, it’d be good to change this:
URL to the root directory of your site
This is the directory containing your site index file.

    to something like this:
    Site URL
    URL where your site’s index.php file is (e.g. http://example.com/)
