I’m making some changes to an existing site and I’m not sure what’s the best way to go about this. The edits will be made live unfortunately, and I know I’ve read somewhere before that there is a way to hide the site to all but admins, but I can’t remember or find that information.

Also, it would be nice if I could put up a static page directing users to e-mail for more info instead of a 404 or simply offline page. I think this will be up for a good week or so. Any suggestions?

This was too simple and I’m quite embarrassed. I just had to make a template group with a “placeholder” page set as my default while working in another template group.
