I was wondering if anyone else has tried this and had any success.

Basically, what I’d like to do is when someone logs in they see something along the lines of:

“There have been x number of new entries added since your last visit” or “There are x number of entries you haven’t read yet.”

I know that there are two add-ons (“It’s New” and “Been There!”) that sort of accomplish this, but neither have the option to return a count of new/unseen entries.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this? Thanks!

Thanks Ingmar! I don’t know how I missed that one. :lol: That will definitely be a good starting point. Now it’s just a matter of limiting it to certain channels and marking entries as new/unread.
