I have inherited an EE project that has three existing EE websites - two 1.4x installs and a 1.6.9 install. The client has purchased a license for MSM and I am wondering if it is possible to integrate two or more stand-alone instances of EE into a single install with MSM and run two or more sites from it? If so I would appreciate a link to the documentation on this.

    Thanks.

    P.S. Yes, I did do a search.

    Hi, Forrest.

This is not possible out of the box and would likely need an experienced dba to do it wt the database level.

You could export entries and use one of the many import methods. Same with members but that has a built in import method.

Hi Lisa, I think it will be easier to keep the separate install at this point and simply add new sites via MSM as they come along. Thanks for the timely response.
