    Hi all,

    I have an art website, where we show the art pieces for every artist. For all of my artists this works fine, but for one of them, it only shows the first piece of art. Any idea what could go wrong here, please? All help or directions appreciated.

    Hi, Michel. Does that particular artist have entries that are in the future? How are you specifying the relationship?

    Hi Sue,

    the entries don’t have futuire entries, they are all on entry_date. We use this to get the related pices:

    {reverse_related_entries weblog="kunst" status="open|verkocht" limit="3" offset="3"}

    The werid thing is, that it works fine for all other artists, so I guess it must be sth with the specific art entries, right?

    Hi Michel,

    Which version and build are you using?

    Have you also verified that the entries have a status of either “open” or “verkocht”? Simplify your tag as much as possible (remove the offset, etc.) and get that working first.

    I also looked a littlke bit further, and I forgot to say I hav ethe Clone addon in my system. The problem is that is does not work very well with FieldFrame. Although that seems to be the case. If I re-update the artwork, by removing the artist, and the replacing it with the correct one, then the artwork is fine. So it seems that I need to do a kind of ‘refresh’ to make the relationship work fine.

    Did anybody have that previously in some project?

    Are you talking about the Cloner extensions? Are you saying this is an issue with Cloner and/or Fieldframe?

    Ingmar,

    yes it is Cloner and Filedframe/Playa which causes the issue. If I clone, the new entry is fine, except for the Playa field. If I update, get back in the entry, delete the relationship, update, get back in, and choose the relationship again, then the entry is fine. So it seems I need to hard refresh the entry to make the Playa relationship work fine.

    Hi Michel,

    I believe that is correct since Playa uses a separate DB table to store the relationships. Glad that you’ve got this sorted now so I’ll close this thread but please post back if you have further questions or problems.

    Cheers

    Greg
