When I post a comment on the blog, I get a message that you have to be a registered member. I’m the super admin. There is no button that allows me to reregister. EE 1.6.8.

Are you sure to be logged in to the front-end? When you go to example.com/index.php/member/login, what do you get?

That did it. Wonder why the system didn’t ask me to sign in or register. It just gave me an error message.

You could create your templates in a way that would ask non-logged in members to login (or register), of course. That said, I’m glad to see you’re up and running. Please post again as needed.
