Hi all,
I can’t seem to send emails via communicate. The host tells me that sendmail is set up, and it is selected in the CP, but still I get this error:
Status: 127 - Unable to open a socket to Sendmail. Please check settings.
Unable to send email using Sendmail
Can someone guide me to fix this, please?

Michel,
Can you move system/utilities/email_test.php to your root and open it in a browser for a test please.
If you use PHP Mail does that work?
Did you go back to your host that you were unable to open a socket to Sendmail

Hey John,
I tested the mail_test.php script, and I got the mail (in SPAM, but that’s ok, I guess for this test). I’ll get back to the host with the socket issue, but maybe the above can help solving the issue?
