ExpressionEngine v2.1.0
Build: 20100810
Just upgraded to 2.1 from 1.6.8. Now my Date tab says Pages. Also, within the Publish page’s toolbar, the tab is labeled Pages but is you mouse over it, the title tag reads “menu_date”.
1. Any idea why this would happen?
2. How can I fix this?

yes. there is a bug in this build and although a patch has been released, no build update yet. for the patch see:

I applied the patch, updated the layout, and the issue was resolved.
