I’m done with EllisLab products. Who wants my license?

I’ll be away for a couple of days but when I get back I will transfer the license over to the person I feel is most deserving.

I assume the transfer is a simple enough process for the staff to sort out.

P.S. I have some add-ons on github. They will be gone when I get back so somebody should fork what they find useful.

Hi, im new to Expression engine, and im considdering purchasing a lisens soon for private use and testing. But the prices are pretty stiff just for testing it out to see if its what i want.

As you say your out, would you care to elaborate why? Maybe you can shine some light on the subject before i make a misstake and purchase i lisens.

If you havent given your lisens away yet, i would gladly take it off your hands.

i have a couple of charity builds that i was going to use the old 1.6 Core for.
If transfers are permitted by EL i would gladly make use of these licenses for these sites.

Why don’t you? Just because they aren’t offering it for download any more doesn’t man you can’t use what you have, right?

because i would prefer the charity sites to be on a good modern build with a future of development!
But otherwise core is fine and i will use it!

I use Core for charity builds with limited budget - only restriction though is the member module but then if they want that kind of functionality it’ll cost them.

I’m grabbing his add-ons from GitHub, and I’ll make sure the files are hosted on devot:ee for anyone who needs them.

I should probably mention that the license is gone.

The reason I’m done is that I simply can’t put up with EllisLab anymore but I didn’t want to turn this into another post complaining.

ExpressionEngine is a fine product and has a fantastic community, in fact, probably the best around a CMS but I can’t stand the company behind it. Unless people want me to explain I won’t go any further.

Thanks for keeping the add-ons alive and I hope others make them a lot better.
