Question: When might we expect to see something of a photo gallery for 2.1? I know it no longer comes with one, but I also read “something” might be in the works. I spent a whole day creating my own photo gallery and it was not looking good at all. It’s hard getting text underneath photos using CSS, while wanting to next photo to be to the right of the previous photo. I ended up with a headache.
Since I am still using 1.6.9. I can still use that photo gallery for now. Or upgrade to 2.1 and hope something comes along which will allow my local community website to have photographs again. So I ask the question about the update to see if I should wait or just go ahead with the 1.6.9 photo gallery. Feel free to send me an e-mail if the answer has to be shhhhhhhhh a secret.
