Hi there - I had a support issue with Engine Hosting recently and they asked me to ensure that sql query, tag and template caching were turned off because their system actually performs better with these disabled.  I was quickly able to find both sql query and template caching as manually configurable options in the control panel (I’m using 1.6.9 by the way) but not tag caching. Is that only part of the entries loop and if so, is it set by default to off or on?

Hi, John - its default is off; it is only one when you add the cache= parameter to your tags.

There is a hidden config to globally disable all tag caching.
