    So I create a EE website. I tried to transfer it to XAMPP. I did so succussfully. The frontpage works fine, however all others do not.

    EX. index.php?/member/memberlist

    does not show up, etc

    Any ideas?

    Also, on the index.php? page, the memberlist link and all other links point to the website EE, not the XAMPP EE.

    HOW CAN I CHANGE THIS?

    Thanks.

    [Mod Edit: Moved to the EE 1 Technical Support forum]

    Were you forcing query strings on your regular site?

    What do you mean by that?

    Notice how your example uses index.php? instead of index.php. There are hosts that require you to force query strings.

    See: http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/130554/

    Usually you don’t need to force query strings on a local install.

    Alright. I tried following that document. I changed ‘Yes’ to ‘No’ under Admin > System Administration > Output and Debugging Preferences.

    Now, When I go to /index.php?/member/memberlist three error shows up, something like lines 2228. 2228 and 2233.

    Warning: include_once

    Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening

    Fatal error: Class ‘profile_theme’ not found in

    So I changed it back and tried to find $config[‘uri_protocol’]  = ‘AUTO’;

    but it was not in config.php

    Also, if I go to the same thing but with index.php instead of index.php? all that happens is the page stays the same. (main page)

    Any thoughts?

    Is it anything with path_info?

    Help please!

    - Thanks!

    Does it have anything to do with config.php?

    I think I hooked up the database correctly.

    On the website it works fine, but for some reason on XAMPP when I tranfered it it doesnt.

    On the main page when I click view memberlist, it links to the website, NOT my localhost.
