Dynamically separate list alphabetically

    A client’s website has a page with a directory listing.  Each of the listings are individual entries in a Weblog.  I’m wondering how I might dynamically break the directory into sections by alphabet, thereby allowing for a section heading for each letter and a set of links at the top of the page to jump to the individual sections.

    I’m also looking for a way to do this, I need to create an A-Z list of documents with navigation.

    I have tried using this form the wiki and changing ‘weblog’ to ‘channel’ but it did not work. http://expressionengine.com/wiki/Alphabetical_Entries_List/

    OK, I found what I needed in this post which accomplishes the alphabetical list.

    Now, I have one entry that starts with the number 4 (4-H is the name).  I need to figure out how to deal with that…
