    Hi,

I have a user who is trying to register on my site but is getting the message ‘You are not authorized to perform this action’.

Other people are managing to register without a problem.

Security is set to Process form data in Secure Mode and uses cookies only.

I am guessing it is going to be something to do with the user’s security settings in their browser, but I have tried setting browser security to maximum and I can still register without a problem.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Make sure his email address / domain name does not match the blacklist. See this page for a few additional things you can try.

    Thanks Ingmar,

We don’t have the whitelist/blacklist installed.
The problem isn’t with access to the control panel so I don’t think the other things will help.

I haven’t had any success on this at all and I’m still having the problem.

Have you tried disabling Require IP Address and User Agent for Login? under Admin ›  System Preferences ›  Security and Session Preferences ?
