Should I use the Structure module?

Hi all, I’m rather new to EE, and I’m working on my first truly large site with EE.

I’ve read a lot of positive things about the Structure module, but the bulk I’m not sure if it would fit well with the project I’m working on.

The site will have several categories of mostly static pages (probably around 50 or so static-ish pages). This is where Structure looks really nice.

The site will also have a store where products are added and deleted fairly regularly. This is where I’m not so sure that Structure is a good fit. There will also be a fairly active traditional blog.

I also plan on using the forum module.

I wonder if anyone who has experience with Structure could chime in on whether or not this seems like a good fit.

    Thanks a ton.

in a case like this ask for the benefit of organising the CP by structure - maybe approach it with a navigation builder such as nav-ee or taxonomy.

That way you only build the nav on the channels that need it, and link to the other special bits as needed?
