    I have a series of internal (stuff inside my client’s site) and external (stuff outside my client’s site) links for my client’s website located in a main dropdown menu. The good news is that the external links work, and the internal entries declared for weblog templates load the correct content.

    The bad news is that when I click an internal entry title from the dropdown menu, the names of the main menu disappear. The only name that remains is that particular weblog. But then, the dropdown menu for that weblog doesn’t fully work. It looks like it’s only showing the name from that particular entry. The main menu is fine at “index.php”, and it’s fine at “template_group/template”. The main menu becomes a problem when the automated “title_permalink” variable is added at the end.

    I’ve tried re-entering the main menu content from the homepage into the other templates, and I’m still getting the same problem. I’ve searched your user guide and forums for more information, and I can’t quite find what I’m looking for.

    As a side note, there is also a side menu containing the same internal/external stuff, so I’m assuming that whatever we resolve here for the main menu will be resolved for the side menu. Also, I’m using the commercial version 1.6.9.

    Try adding

    dynamic="off"

    to your exp:weblog:entries tag.

    It worked. At first I just put the parameter on the homepage template, and that didn’t work. But when I added it to the interior page template, it worked! Thanks!
