    Hello guys,

A client required to have different members permissions.

Can a member only post in a specific category? The client want all the member having access into a weblog but only post, edit and deleted in a specific category..

    Any ideas?

    thank you!

I am afraid there are no built-in category-based permissions. If you need that level of flexibility consider using separate weblogs.

    :( Thank you Ingmar.

I already created 252 categories, it will so difficult create all that weblogs.

Correct me if i wrong, when a user edit a post, it save with the name of the member who edited it, isn’t it?

In that way i will have a control over the members who edited some wrong content..

I didn’t suggest that you create 252 weblogs, just store some entries (with categories) on one weblogs, and give some users access there, and other in another weblog with no access.

With sufficient permissions they can simply select the author of an entry. Normally it does not change.
