I have been following the instructions page (updating from 1.x to 2.x) but the result is this:

Welcome to the ExpressionEngine Installation and Update wizard.

This utility enables ExpressionEngine to be installed for the first time or updated from an older version.

All pre-installation tests have been completed successfully and no errors were detected.

If you are ready to install ExpressionEngine version 2.1.0 click the link below:

Click here to install a brand new copy of ExpressionEngine

For some reason there is no option to update.

Per the update instructions, you’ll need to restore your config.php from 1.x to system/expressionengine/config/

Then you should see the upgrade option. Does that do it?

Before posting I restored the config.php file and I uploaded it to the server following the instructions. I have checked that step again and for some strange reason that file was empty.

Right now everything is ok and I have EE 2.1 in front of me.
