With the changeover to 2.1 I cannot find the weblog:entries user guide on the EE site. I need to find some tags and variables but can’t figure out where they got put.
This is an archived forum and the content is probably no longer relevant, but is provided here for posterity.
The active forums are here.

1.6.9 documentation can be found here, ryestew.

Sorry, but you really could have implemented some redirects. All EE Google search results for EE1 docs are now 404’ing - it’s driving me nuts. It has also become very time consuming to find archived forum content - again the Google results are going nowhere. Previously there was rarely any need to use the Forum search - Google took you straight to the thread.

Yeah, I second this—a few redirects would be great—and I couldn’t find any links to the legacy docs anywhere except this thread—that’s frustrating too.

We do have redirects in place, for current material. docs => user_guide. Google has not indexed the content at legacy_docs yet, that is all.

Could you please add a note at the top of the new user guide (http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/) that links to the legacy docs?
We’re all eager to move on past 1.6, but there are a lot of existing sites that we still need to support. The only place I could find the legacy docs was this thread.

Quite reasonable, siffring.

Not everything was redirected, then. http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/modules/weblog/index.html , as one example, loads a 404 page.

Fixed, thanks for the link Travis.
