Hello,

In ExpressionEngine 1.6.9, in custom field, drop-down list, “Populate the menu manually”.

In the Select Options Textarea, if I write:

Je vends
J'achète

The options are saved like this:

Je vends
J'achète

When writing an entry with CP or SAEF, the list is also populated with

J'achète

Any ideas to avoid this behaviour?

Unfortunatly, french uses massively apostrophs…

Fabrice, you could use any of the find and replace plugins to change this behavior. Look for them over on devot-ee.com. This would work on the front end, but not change the display on the back end,
