I have a page on my EE-based site that has a Silverlight object on it. I put my object markup in a template and when I go to load the page, my Silverlight object is blank with nothing in it.

I created a test page to try the SL code and XAP on, just a plain old *.htm file, which works fine and loads the SL object no problem. It’s only on .php pages that it won’t work.

The object is definitely pointing to the right location, as you can copy/paste the source value into a new browser and it will prompt you to download the XAP file.

Any ideas? Anyone run into issues with Silverlight on PHP pages before?

What version and build of EE are you using? Does it work in regular, static .php pages?

I just tried renaming the htm file I was using to .php and it works there. After doing a bit of googling, I think the issue might be in the DOCTYPE.

Error console is throwing this error from the xap file:
Message: DTD was found but is prohibited.

Sounds like this may be a server-side issue.

I agree. Let us know what you find out, please.
