I have a post out there, seems to be picking up little attention and I am truly stuck here. Someone must know why there is an issue with setting and retrieving cookies in EE via javascript.
I have the JS script as an embedded template, see code below, it will not correctly set or retrieve the values thus the cart will not work.

I’ve always used the functions given here for creating/deleting cookies via javascript.

Is there any particular reason why the script mentioned above will not set cookies or retrieve them when inside an EE install? This is wrecking my head as to why it doesn’t just work out the box with EE
