How can I change URL or Domain name for my control panel and other files with out re-installing EE?

Ex. Now my control panel is http://www.dancingwithbrevard.com/system
and every other page starts with dancingwithbrevard.com/other-pages

I want to change it to

    control panel - http://www.dancingcoasttocoast.com/system
and every other page to began with dancingcoasttocoast.com/other-pages

I don’t want to use domain forwarding.

    Thanks

Hey Sue, I think thats too much. It’s probably simple… I’m not moving the site to a new server, In fact I could keep the same database if thats posable.

I just want the sites home page to be dancingcoasttocoast.com. Currently it is dancingwithbrevard.com.

I own both domain names under the same hosting account.

I don’t want to use domain name forwarding.

I was wondering if I need to change something in the database or the EE system folder (I haven’t re-named the system folder)

You don’t have to move your data, or your database, of course, but the same principles would still apply: make sure it can be accessed via the new domain, then edit .../system/config.php. Open up the Control Panel and update any necessary settings in the following areas: General Configuration, Weblog Management, File Upload Preferences, Global Weblog Preferences, Membership Preferences, Captcha Preferences, Emoticon Preferences.

Finally you will also need to update the My Site link in the upper right hand corner of the Control Panel. Click the “Edit Link” icon to do this.
