    This question may be related to a resolved thread.

    I tried to quickly update my previous post (referenced above), but you were even faster (which speaks positively of the customer service here 😊.

    Anyway, I found I cannot export my entire blog due to memory limits with my host, so I’d like to export in blocks of 50 posts+comments (e.g., 1-50, 51-100, etc.).  Could you kindly let me know how I’d do that?

    I already searched the beta documentation and found this page:
    http://expressionengine.com/public_beta/docs/overview/tags.html
    ...but alas, it didn’t clue me in.

    What’s your MO here, are you doing this with a template, or querying the db directly? Either way the offset parameter should work for you. Can you post a bit of more of your code? It’s probably “Howto” but we should be able to get you started at the very least.

    Hi Ingmar,

    I’m using a set of two templates, as outlined here:
    http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/144866/

    Thanks! (and yep, feel free to move this to HowTo, which I agree is probably a better place for this discussion)

    OK, so it’s a template. Instead of

    {exp:channel:entries channel="default_site" limit="999" rdf="off"}

    simply use

    {exp:channel:entries channel="default_site" limit="50" rdf="off"}
    {exp:channel:entries channel="default_site" limit="50" rdf="off" offset="50" }
    {exp:channel:entries channel="default_site" limit="50" rdf="off" offset="100" }
    {exp:channel:entries channel="default_site" limit="50" rdf="off" offset="150" }

    You get the idea 😊 Moving to Howto.
