I want to let clients create a login Password and Username, then login and upload files from thier computer to my server. How do I do this, including what settings need to be changed in the control panel?

I’m using the upload_url Variable and the Login Form Tag
When login via the Login Form Tag and hit the upload_url link I’m taken to another log-in page. Once I log-in at this page, then I can hit my upload_url link which now takes me to the upload utility page and I can upload a file.
How can I get directly to the Upload page the first time?
I’m logging in with my Super Admins UN and PW.
