    Hi,

My client has two Web sites on GoDaddy (NOT my choice). I just finished migrating one of these sites into EE and ran into the “running php as cgi” problem. I was able to resolve this by forcing query strings as described in the Wiki.

My question: I want to purchase MSM and migrate the client’s second site into EE as well. Are there any gotchas or issues that I should know about relating to GoDaddy and MSM?

    Thanks,

    Gayle

    ps: it’s a Linux server

Hi, gkboyer - we do have users that have MSM working on GoDaddy.  The main thing to be sure of is that the system directory is accessible from your subdomain/domain directories.

And by “system directory” I assume you mean the directory where EE is installed, correct?

    Thanks much,

    Gayle

Yes, the directory that holds the main files.  It’s mentioned in the install documentation.  I missed that you’re entirely new here, my apologies.  Welcome to the forums!
