Don’t ask me where I read this but I’d swear that one of the features touted about EE2.0 was a “site settings” type feature, where an Admin could edit site-specific details, such as postal address, phone number etc. Maybe I dreamed this?

I was wondering if this could be done in an Accessory, though from what I’ve read of them, they’re more suited to the displaying of content rather than the saving/editing of content to the database.

So, was I dreaming? Or am I missing something incredibly obvious?

    TIA

    You were dreaming.

You can create Global Variables for this type of content though (Design -> Global Variables).  I’ve considered making an addon for settings (something one could let the client edit, w/choices from dropdowns etc.)
