Are there any more good CI tutorials that you know on web?
I know it is important to learn PHP itself, but i need some additional practice with CI. it would be great if there were some more lessons online.

Can you just trying to develop guestbook(for example), blog, forum, etc… And you will be grow!

Just search for codeigniter and you should have couple of hours of reading/watching 😉

I agree with you, by practise with trying to make some little applications we will grow but theory is important too and for the beginner needs theory first before make an application.
