I was reading some notes on TheWatchmakerProject blog about a EECI2009 workshop.

At point #7 i read something about removing columns from the edit overview page. But… how the **** can i do this. It would be a great improvement for non blog websites.

    Hi Maix,

Take a look at the Simplify Edit Table extension that Derek made a while back. Pretty sure that’s what you’re looking for.

    Hope that helps a bit.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

Nice Mark, however that extension removes both the trackbacks column AND the comments column. In the example screenshot in Jamie’s slideshow, you can see the comments column still intact. Any idea how to achieve this, aside from forking the extension and modifying it to do so?

Actually, if you uninstall the Trackback Module, the trackback column will disappear.
If you uninstall the Comment Module… well guess what happens.
