I was hoping that EE would simply resize images upon upload. However, I’ve looked at the settings and some forum threads on this topic, and am afraid it’s over my head.

Is there a tutorial on how to use or install a basic image resizer?

I know a decent amount about HTML and successfully installed and am using EE, but everything I’ve found about image resizing seems to involve a lot of programming with a fairly deep jumping-off point; I haven’t found a Basic Image Resizing 101 tutorial.

Any advice is much appreciated! Maybe it’s just easier to resize images in Photoshop and not worry about resizing with EE?

I would also love to know if there is a decent plug-in that can do this. There is http://www.lumis.com/page/imgsizer/ but I know it has specific server requirements which I am yet to discover.
