We are working on an email template to use with the mailing list feature. While testing, the unsubscribe url code {unsubscribe_url} produced this link: http://dartmouth.org/classes/79/index.php?ACT=5&id=GVv7tqgvpf
When you go to the link an error is displayed that says: “Unable to find the specified account number.”
Any ideas?

Your URL structure looks definitely non-standard; what’s “79”, a template? A weblog entry? EE will assume it to be an entry_id. That said, this error message is triggered because this query failed:
DELETE FROM exp_mailing_list WHERE authcode = '$id'Can you try with a few more users? Also, upgrading to 1.6.8 is recommended from a security point of view.

The issues seems to have resolved itself. 79 is the folder that EE is installed in.
