    We are using Twitter Timeline (v.1.2) plugin. It stopped working today,
    Tried to check template log it is as below.

    (0.003068) Calling Class/Method: Twitter_timeline/twitter_timeline
    (0.003325) -> Class Called: Twitter_timeline
    (0.003373) Using 'user' Twitter Timeline For User .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (email changed)
    (0.004209) Fetching Twitter timeline remotely
    (0.201116) Twitter Timeline error: Unable to retreive statuses from Twitter.com

    But I directly try to check timeline, It shows the statuses xml.

    Is it still not working? There were massive issues with Twitter a little while ago, could that be what you are seeing? Also, what version and build of EE are you on?

    You might want to upgrade to EE 1.6.8, although this probably has got nothing do with the issue at hand. I think we are still experiencing the aftermath of the DOS attack; my suggestion would be to try again in a day or two.

    FYI we are getting the same and are now having a few problems with the plugin.

    A site we were runnig it one fine now no longer works: http://wiredin.org.uk/families

    If I copy the code below and try it on my own site it works fine: http://paulcripps.com/#work

    the only differance I can see is that the site it breaks on is running EE 1.6.7 and the site it still works on is running 1.6.4

    {exp:twitter_timeline type="user" user="" password="" limit="8" auto_link="true" link_usernames="true" twitter_refresh="10"}
    <h5 class="date">{created_at format="%m/%d/%y"}</h5>
    {text}
    {/exp:twitter_timeline}

    As I’ve said, I have no reason yet to believe this anything but a temporary issue. I don’t think this is affected by the version of EE you’re running.
