CP File upload error (core.upload.php problem)

    Just thought I would drop in and say that my client was having the same issues when uploading PDF files he created in Word, they are Menus for his restaurant and therefore updated on a regular basis. I disabled the XSS filtering and it works fine now. So thank you.

    I will check back on the Build Forum every now and again to see if there is any updates.

    EDIT: I now realise that this thread was started in 2007!!! Any solutions crop up in the last 2 years 😊

    I am not sure there is a very good solution to this. When it comes to XSS security we prefer to err on the side of caution. Is there some active content in those PDFs? Some embedded Javascript, something like that?

    Not that I know if, he is not very computer literate. Is there a way of checking his PDFs?

    As stated they were created direct from Word

    I suppose in that case the only feasible option, really, would be:

    1.) Disable XSS or
    2.) Upload them via regular FTP or
    3.) Upload them as a Superadmin
