    Hello

I could not figure where to post this so here it is.

Am having a logout issue with my account on ee.com

When i click on logout, the system says its loging out and redirects to the homepage but am still connected and can go to my account details etc.

Since the computer on which am logged in is kinda public, anyone who types in ee.com will go to my account.

    What to do?

    cheers

Can you try clearing out your cookies? I can’t reproduce this on our site, so I suspect a stuck cookie on your computer.

    Thanks Lisa.

    Clearing cookies worked great.
But after each login i need to clear the cookies otherwise it stays logged.

    Anyway its fine for me.

That’s very strange - what browser are you on, and what operating system?

I’ve got a single EE site with the same problem. It just stays logged in, without a time out, until I log out, or clear cookies. Latest EE version; nothing complicated, cookies only.

+1 for this. It seems to be a problem with Safari 4. Clearing the cookies works, but that’s not really practical, particularly for general site members.

This is happening for you all on expressionengine.com or on your own sites?

I’ve experienced similar problems with Safari 4 on other sites - suspect it is a Safari ‘feature’.

    Cheers

On my own sites. It doesn’t seem to be an issue logging in / out of the CP, it’s only when you log in to the public-facing part of the site. I’ll do a bit more digging, and see if I can provide you with some more useful information.

    Cheers,
    Stephen

Only on one EE site (configured the same as others, though).
