I have a client who wants a members area, he has at the moment 500 odd users in another database and would like to add these to the ee site, so am thinking of using the member upload utility so no probs there, however he wnats to be able to upload changes to the membership based on the other database so my first question is does the member upload utility overwrite existing members?
He would also like to ba able to allocate different content to some individual users, this is where I am really stuck, I know I can do this on group id but not aware on how to do this on a member by member basis?
Any help would be great.
